NAB Karachi issues recovered amounts
KARACHI: A cheque distribution ceremony was held today at NAB Karachi office in an austere and simple manner in which DG NAB Karachi Brig (Retd) Farooq Nasar Awan accompanied with Jameel Yusuf, Founder Chief CPLC distributed cheques amongst the affected of PHA Maymar Joint Venture Project Karachi, worth Rs.37.328 million recovered by NAB after completion of successful investigation, says a Press release.
As per the detail, an inquiry against PHA Maymar on the allegations of cheating public at large was conducted by NAB Karachi. The company looted the lifesavings of general public by way of non-completion of project/flats. The management of company despite collection of hefty amounts from general public fails to handover the flats/plots to real affected/allottees of project.
DG NAB Karachi Brig (Retd) Farooq Nasar Awan while talking to affected said that under the leadership of Chairman NAB Justice Jawed Iqbal with his vision of "Accountability for All & Zero tolerance against corruption", NAB is striving hard to take culprits to task without discrimination; and recover maximum looted assets back to the affected as well as to Federal and Provincial Government.
