Court al­lows NAB to sub­mit new pa­pers against Nawaz Sharif

IS­LAM­ABAD: The Ac­count­abil­ity Court on Fri­day al­lowed Na­tional Ac­count­abil­ity Bureau (NAB) to sub­mit new doc­u­ments against for­mer Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif in Flag­ship ref­er­ence.

The Ac­count­abil­ity Court Judge, Ar­shad Ma­lik re­sumed the hear­ing of the case dur­ing which Khawaja Har­ris sub­mit­ted his client Nawaz Sharif's ex­emp­tion plea.

Nawaz Sharif could not ap­pear be­fore the court due to se­cu­rity is­sues and sought a one-day ex­emp­tion from hear­ing of the case per­tain­ing to Flag­ship In­vest­ments ref­er­ence.

It is worth men­tion­ing here that the cases against Nawaz fam­ily stemmed from the Panama Pa­pers leak that dis­closed ex­pen­sive and un­de­clared prop­erty al­legedly
