BZU to start textile engineering evening classes
MULTAN: The governing body of Bahauddin Zakariya University College of Textile and Engineering approved launching of evening classes of B.Sc Textile Engineering.
In a meeting of the governing body presided over by ViceChancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University Dr Muhammad Zafar Ullah and attended by industrialist Khawaja Muhammad Younis, Syed Muhammad Aasim Shah, Tanvir Ahmed Shiekh, Khawaja Muhammad Fazil, Shiekh Muhammad Tayyab, Principal Dr Ashraf Chaudhry, Muhammad Aalim and Tahira Bappi, it was also decided to pay special focus on marketing with help of latest machinery to attract attentions of the people attached to textile sector.
The meeting participants also reviewed performance of the college and expressed satisfaction. It was also decided to organise evening classes of B.Sc Textile Engineering in order to compete private sector and also convey advantages of latest machinery to the persons attached to textile sectors.
The meeting also gave approval of construction of boundary wall, launching of short courses, regularisation of teachers and raise in salaries of staff as well as principals. Regarding regularisation of teachers services and increase in salaries of staff, the VC directed the principal to sent their case in university so that it could be reviewed in the meeting of Finance and Planning. -App
