Electronic boarding pass facility in Pak
KARACHI: Emirates Airline has introduced the first ever electronic Boarding Pass (eBP) facility in Pakistan.
In addition to its online check-in service that allows passengers to check in prior to arrival at the airport, they will be able to print their boarding pass at home through the eBP service, An Emirates statement issued here on Monday said.
This innovative new facility has been introduced at all four Emirates stations in Pakistan. The passengers flying Emirates from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar now have the option to print their boarding passes at home prior to their flights in order to save time. The statement further pointed out that the option to print the boarding pass will be enabled 20 hours prior to departure time. The new service will allow passengers carrying only hand luggage to bypass the Emirates check-in counter and proceed directly to immigration and then to their boarding gate, saving them time. -App
