LCCI hails government for maintaining peace
LAHORE: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has hailed the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and law enforcement agencies for maintaining peace at Majalis and processions held in connection with Muharrumul Haram.
In a statement issued here Saturday, the LCCI President Shahzad Ali Malik, Senior Vice President Sheikh Mohammad Arshad and Vice President Sohail Azhar said that the Chief Minister and his team deserve appreciation for a round-the-clock vigilance and unprecedented foolproof security measures that helped ensure peace on Youm-eAshura.
The LCCI office-bearers said that this makes the point that the law enforcement agencies have all the abilities and the capacity to make Pakistan a land of peace and tranquility.
They said that anti-state elements always remained busy to destablise the country, however, due to adequate security measures these antisocial elements have failed to fulfill their nefarious designs. The LCCI office-bearers also appreciated the Ulema of both the sects for showing exemplary cooperation.
Moreover, Pakistan rich with exciting opportunities is an emerging market for Chinese investment in all sectors. President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shahzad Ali Malik and Vice President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Iftikhar Ali Malik, a veteran trade leader in an exclusive joint interview to APP said that "Pakistan is now open to Chinese businessmen with best atmoshphere of investment which provide significant possibilities for Chinese and other foreign investors."
Pakistan with Chinese investment would achieve sustained growth in key sectors, including increase in per capita income and improvement in micro-economic in the years to come, they added. -App
