Warm clothes for 50,000 flood hit fam­i­lies

LA­HORE: Arian Supreme Coun­cil,Pak­istan Tues­day dis­patched 10 truck­loads of win­ter clothes for 5,000 fam­i­lies com­pris­ing sweaters, blan­kets, quilts and food pack­ets worth Rs 20 m for flood af­fectees of dis­tricts Ra­jan­pur, Muzaf­far­gar and Rahim Yar Khan.

Chair­man, Arain Supreme Coun­cil,Mian Muham­mad Saeed Arain Der­ay­walay, while brief­ing the news­men here, said that the coun­cil dur­ing the first two food con­sign­ments com­pris­ing 20 trucks had al­ready dis­trib­uted re­lief goods among the af­fectees of 40 vil­lages of south­ern part of the prov­ince.

Pres­i­dent Arain Supreme Coun­cil,for­mer Corps Com­man­der Mangla Lt Gen ® Ghu­lam Mustafa on this oc­ca­sion said the coun­cil will con­tinue to sup­port the af­fectees till their com­plete rehabilitation. He said that in­flu­en­tial Arains set­tled in UK and other Pak-ex­pa­tri­ats have promised to despatch a con­tainer com­pris­ing warm clothes for flood af­fecteed peo­ple. -App
