Warm clothes for 50,000 flood hit families
LAHORE: Arian Supreme Council,Pakistan Tuesday dispatched 10 truckloads of winter clothes for 5,000 families comprising sweaters, blankets, quilts and food packets worth Rs 20 m for flood affectees of districts Rajanpur, Muzaffargar and Rahim Yar Khan.
Chairman, Arain Supreme Council,Mian Muhammad Saeed Arain Deraywalay, while briefing the newsmen here, said that the council during the first two food consignments comprising 20 trucks had already distributed relief goods among the affectees of 40 villages of southern part of the province.
President Arain Supreme Council,former Corps Commander Mangla Lt Gen ® Ghulam Mustafa on this occasion said the council will continue to support the affectees till their complete rehabilitation. He said that influential Arains settled in UK and other Pak-expatriats have promised to despatch a container comprising warm clothes for flood affecteed people. -App
