Mus­lim unity must to face chal­lenges

IS­LAM­ABAD: Ali Ak­bar Ja­van­fikr, Ad­vi­sor of Pres­i­dent of the Is­lamic Re­pub­lic of Iran for Me­dia has said that the unity among ranks and files of the Mus­lim Ummah is must to face the chal­lenges posed by the de­struc­tive el­e­ments.

He was giv­ing a lec­ture on he Role of Is­lamic Re­pub­lic of Iran in the Mus­lim World Unity" or­ga­nized by the Iqbal In­ter­na­tional In­sti­tute for Re­search and Di­a­logue (IRD) of the In­ter­na­tional Is­lamic Uni­ver­sity, here on Mon­day.

Ira­nian Am­bas­sador Masha Al­lah Shakiri, Dr. An­war Hus­sain Sid­diqui, Pres­i­dent IIUI, Dr. Mum­taz Ahmed, Vice Pres­i­dent (Aca­demics), IIUI, Sahibzada Sa­jid Ur Rehman, Di­rec­tor Gen­eral, Dawah Academy of IIUI were also present on the oc­ca­sion.

Ja­van­fikr said that con­spir­a­tors were cre­at­ing dif­fer­ences among Mus­lims, whereas the lat­ter were one in faith. The de­struc­tive el­e­ments act­ing upon their vi­cious ad­mis­sions di­vide and rule the Mus­lim world and use their nat­u­ral re­sources, he added.

Ali Ak­bar Ja­van­fikr added that Iran af­ter the revo­lu­tion led by Imam Khomeni al­ways played a pos­i­tive role to pro­mote unity among Mus­lim Ummah. He quoted I mam Khomeni say­ing that "a per­son who cre­ates dif­fer­ences among Mus­lims on Sunni - Shiah di­vides is an agent of im­pe­ri­al­ism".

Ali Ak­bar Ja­van­fikr high­lighted Iran's role in the Mus­lim world and said that Iran al­ways helped op­pressed peo­ple, es­pe­cially Mus­lims in­clud­ing Pales­tinian, Bunions, Afgha­nis, Iraqis and Kash­miris in their strug­gles. -App
