‘For­eign in­ter­fer­ence main cause of un­rest’

PESHAWAR: Chief Min­is­ter Khy­ber-Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Tues­day said that strat­egy of KPK Govern­ment against ter­ror­ists, which en­joyed mas­sive sup­port of the masses, would con­tinue un­changed as it showed good re­sults.

The im­prove­ment in ground sit­u­a­tion and suc­cesses in war against ter­ror gave am­ple proof to the fact that ter­ror­ist net­works are get­ting weaker day by day he said this while talk­ing to me­dia men af­ter in­au­gu­rat­ing web­site of Ma­lik Saad Me­mo­rial Sports Trust here.

The credit for emerg­ing tri­umphant in ter­ror war goes to the peo­ple of KPK who paid a heavy price for it's, he said, adding, the en­tire nation, po­lit­i­cal lead­er­ship and the army showed ex­treme unity in this bat­tle which is highly com­mend­able. "I salute to the mar­tyrs of the war on ter­ror as they laid down their lives for the bet­ter fu­ture of the coun­try".

He main­tained that in­sur­gency was not re­stricted to KPK or Pak­istan alone as its im­pacts spread all over the South Asian re­gion. Un­less peace re­stored in Afghanistan, sta­bil­ity in Pak­istan would be dis­tant dream, he added.

There­fore, at­mos­phere of mu­tual trust and un­der­stand­ing was a must among the coun­tries of the re­gion to achieve the goal of peace, he added. -App
