‘Foreign interference main cause of unrest’
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti on Tuesday said that strategy of KPK Government against terrorists, which enjoyed massive support of the masses, would continue unchanged as it showed good results.
The improvement in ground situation and successes in war against terror gave ample proof to the fact that terrorist networks are getting weaker day by day he said this while talking to media men after inaugurating website of Malik Saad Memorial Sports Trust here.
The credit for emerging triumphant in terror war goes to the people of KPK who paid a heavy price for it's, he said, adding, the entire nation, political leadership and the army showed extreme unity in this battle which is highly commendable. "I salute to the martyrs of the war on terror as they laid down their lives for the better future of the country".
He maintained that insurgency was not restricted to KPK or Pakistan alone as its impacts spread all over the South Asian region. Unless peace restored in Afghanistan, stability in Pakistan would be distant dream, he added.
Therefore, atmosphere of mutual trust and understanding was a must among the countries of the region to achieve the goal of peace, he added. -App
