IGP bans use of mo­bile phone dur­ing duty

PESHAWAR: The In­spec­tor Gen­eral of Po­lice Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa through an or­der has banned use of mo­bile phones by lower sub­or­di­nates in po­lice force on duty with im­me­di­ate ef­fect.

The pro­vin­cial po­lice of­fi­cer in a spe­cial cir­cu­lar is­sued from CPO on Wed­nes­day has di­rected CCPO Peshawar, all DIGs Re­gions, DPOs and other heads of units to im­ple­ment this or­der in let­ter and spirit by en­sur­ing that lower sub-or­di­nates on duty should not use mo­bile phones.

They have also been in­structed to fur­ther di­rect the su­per­vi­sory of­fi­cers in their re­spec­tive ar­eas and units to strictly monitor the sub-or­di­nates on duty through out the prov­ince and those found vi­o­lat­ing this or­der should be taken to task with­out fail. -App
