Hajj pil­grims fac­ing long flight de­lays

Pak­istani Hajj pil­grims, who have started their jour­ney back to their home­land, af­ter at­tend­ing world's largest con­gre­ga­tion in S Ara­bia, are fac­ing ex­tra or­di­nary flight de­lays. Ac­cord­ing to me­dia re­ports a flight of pri­vate air­liner, which was orig­i­nally sched­uled to arrive in Peshawar on Wed­nes­day, suf­fered a de­lay of 24 hours and it is now expected to reach there at 5 pm yes­ter­day. The air­line's man­age­ment said the flight had to face the de­lay due to some op­er­a­tional prob­lems at Jed­dah air­port. On the other hand, a Saudi air­line's flight ar­rived at the Peshawar Air­port to­day at 1:30 PM, af­ter a de­lay of about one hour.
