Corruption brings country at verge of disaster, says Qureshi
Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that corruption and nepotism have badly damaged the country and have brought it at the verge of disaster.
Addressing different party meetings here in Gulberg and other areas, he deeply regretted Pakistan's 132nd position in the international index as quite terrible which, was way below even Bangladesh and other countries who attained got freedom much later than Pakistan.
"Present rulers have no interest in the betterment of the common man, who were becoming poorer while power holders were busy planning their next political gimmick", he stated, adding that due to such scenario, PTI had decided to put its all efforts to give reality to the slogan of change on the basis of "now or never."
Admitting that there were certain hurdles on the way to organize PTI at national level, he said that hurdles were part and parcel of any political party, while PTI leadership was trying its level best to settle the issues amicably.
Berating political opponents for using their 70 per cent resources on the media campaign to defame PTI, with daily some new concocted scam, he exhorted workers to muster up their energies and work for party with full zeal.
