Indo-pak trade ties to propel regional stability: Nawaz
PML-N President Nawaz Sharif has said that exchange of delegations and increasing trade relations between Pakistan and India are good omen for development and stability in the region. He said that today world is an age of economy and if the economy of both the countries is strong, the living standard of the people will be better and they would be provided prosperous atmosphere. Therefore, it is essential that both the countries should resolve their issues through dialogue.
These views were expressed by him while talking to Chief Minister of Indian Province Bihar Natish Kumar who called on him along with the high level delegation at Jaati Umra on Thursday.
Nawaz Sharif appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Bihar due to which the Bihar province has become a role model in India with regard to institutional reforms.
He also appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Bihar for upholding law, provision of infrastructure, economic development and increase in annual growth rate. Nawaz also informed Natish Kumar about development projects and other steps taken in education, health, transport, infrastructure, police and judicial reforms, information technology sectors and good governance by PML-N government in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
He said that great opportunities of development exist in the region and the destiny of the people of the region can be changed by fully benefitting from these opportunities and resolving the existing issues between both the countries.
