BSP presents K5000 to Sal­va­tion Army

PORT MORESBY: Pa­pua New Guinea Sec­re­tary for Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion Ma­jor Philip Maxwell when re­ceiv­ing the cheque from BSP’s Group Deputy Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer and Group Chief Fi­nan­cial Of­fi­cer, John­son Kalo to­day ac­knowl­edged and com­mended BSP for their con­tin­ued sup­port that helps Sal­va­tion Army in its many projects and pro­grams. Ma­jor Philip said this kind do­na­tion will be put into our So­cial Trust Funds to as­sist with our Community Ser­vice, Health & HIV and Dis­as­ter projects. BSP has been sup­port­ing Sal­va­tion Army for sev­eral years in­clud­ing their fundrais­ing events to help them raise more funds in their en­deav­ors. The bank also has a great work­ing re­la­tion­ship with the Sal­va­tion Army schools and does sim­i­lar to var­i­ous other char­i­ta­ble, hu­man­i­tar­ian and non­govern­ment or­gan­i­sa­tions that strive to make pos­i­tive con­tri­bu­tions to the community, such as Cheshire Dis­Abil­ity Ser­vices, PNG Red Cross and City Mis­sion among oth­ers.
