Post Hajj flight operation to be concluded next week
The month-long successful post Hajj flight operation would be completed by November 30 as over 179210 Pakistani Hujjaj would be brought back by then, said an official of Ministry of Religious Affairs He said more than 179,210 Pakistanis traveled to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj, of which more than 50 percent aged between 50 to 60plus years. Transport facilities for Pakistani Hujjaj were doubled this year as comparing to last year. Next year Pakistani Government would request Saudi Arabia to increase Hajj quota of Pakistan, he said.
A total of 109 Pakistani Hujjaj were died, seven sustained injuries during Hajj 2012. This year 163 buildings were hired for providing residential facilities to the Hujjaj in Makkah and 45 buildings were hired in Madina. He said the services of 1500 Khuddam-ulHujjaj were hired to facilitate and help Hujjaj. The volunteers of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) had also provided valuable services to the Hujjaj.
