Post Hajj flight op­er­a­tion to be con­cluded next week

The month-long suc­cess­ful post Hajj flight op­er­a­tion would be com­pleted by Novem­ber 30 as over 179210 Pak­istani Hu­j­jaj would be brought back by then, said an of­fi­cial of Min­istry of Reli­gious Af­fairs He said more than 179,210 Pak­ista­nis trav­eled to Saudi Ara­bia to per­form Hajj, of which more than 50 per­cent aged be­tween 50 to 60plus years. Trans­port fa­cil­i­ties for Pak­istani Hu­j­jaj were dou­bled this year as com­par­ing to last year. Next year Pak­istani Gov­ern­ment would re­quest Saudi Ara­bia to in­crease Hajj quota of Pak­istan, he said.

A to­tal of 109 Pak­istani Hu­j­jaj were died, seven sus­tained in­juries dur­ing Hajj 2012. This year 163 build­ings were hired for pro­vid­ing res­i­den­tial fa­cil­i­ties to the Hu­j­jaj in Makkah and 45 build­ings were hired in Mad­ina. He said the ser­vices of 1500 Khud­dam-ulHu­j­jaj were hired to fa­cil­i­tate and help Hu­j­jaj. The vol­un­teers of Pak­istan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) had also pro­vided valu­able ser­vices to the Hu­j­jaj.
