GEPCO to remain with the processions of the Muharam
The Chief Executive Officer Gujranwala Electric Power Company(GEPCO) said that under the directions of Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi, the emergency squads have been formed for uninterrupted supply of electricity in the Imambargahs and on the routes of the Zuljinah during Moharram.
He told that in order to make an uninterrupted supply of electricity the Vehicles and expert staff of GEPCO equipped with required material and equipment will remain with every procession of Moharram. He said this while addressing to a special meeting held in connection with Muharram.
He advised the GEPCO's Officer to once again make a survey of Imam Bargahs, Zuljinah and Tazeea's routes with the help of district administration by the formulation and deputing different teams of GEPCO at all places and to further improve the system of electricity wires as well and also vigilantly supervise it to avoid any inconvenience to the mourners in due course.
