GEPCO to re­main with the pro­ces­sions of the Muharam

The Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Gu­jran­wala Elec­tric Power Com­pany(GEPCO) said that un­der the direc­tions of Sec­re­tary Wa­ter and Power Nar­gis Sethi, the emer­gency squads have been formed for un­in­ter­rupted sup­ply of elec­tric­ity in the Imam­bar­gahs and on the routes of the Zulji­nah dur­ing Mo­har­ram.

He told that in or­der to make an un­in­ter­rupted sup­ply of elec­tric­ity the Ve­hi­cles and ex­pert staff of GEPCO equipped with re­quired ma­te­rial and equip­ment will re­main with ev­ery pro­ces­sion of Mo­har­ram. He said this while ad­dress­ing to a spe­cial meet­ing held in con­nec­tion with Muhar­ram.

He ad­vised the GEPCO's Of­fi­cer to once again make a sur­vey of Imam Bar­gahs, Zulji­nah and Tazeea's routes with the help of dis­trict ad­min­is­tra­tion by the for­mu­la­tion and deput­ing dif­fer­ent teams of GEPCO at all places and to fur­ther im­prove the sys­tem of elec­tric­ity wires as well and also vig­i­lantly su­per­vise it to avoid any in­con­ve­nience to the mourn­ers in due course.
