Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Alam has rejected the government's plea to ban the motorbike riding in Karachi, except for 9th and 10th day of Muharram. Justice Alam has stated that the government should improve security arrangements instead of putting ban on motorbike ride for a ten-day period. Additional Chief Secretary for Interior affairs, Sindh, Wasim Ahmed and Advocate General Sindh Abdul Fateh Malik Tuesday appeared before the court. The court heard the stance of the government's counsels. The lawyers stated that the sensitive institutions have been informed that motorcycles would be used in terrorist activities during Muharram.
