Bank­ing court lawyers post­pone protest drive

Bank­ing Court Lawyers Forum Wed­nes­day de­cided to call off protest demon­stra­tion against the short­age of judges, which was sched­uled to be held Thurs­day (to­day) due to holy month of Muharam.

Bank­ing Court Lawyers Forum gen­eral body unan­i­mously de­cided this dur­ing a meet­ing which was held to dis­cuss short­age of judges at bank­ing courts.

The meet­ing was held un­der the chair­man­ship of Bank­ing Court Lawyers Forum Muham­mad You­nis Chaud­hary. Gen­eral Sec­re­tary Za­hoor Ali Nasir Taga, Spe­cial Co­or­di­na­tor Saba Saeed Sheikh Ma­lik Im­ran and other ad­vo­cates were also present.

The Forum unan­i­mously de­cided to post­pone the protest demon­stra­tion against the short­age of judges and other long stand­ing is­sues to be held Thurs­day (to­day) due to holy month of Muharam.

Gen­eral Sec­re­tary Za­hoor Ali Nasir Taga said that af­ter 10th of Muharam, the Forum would hold its ses­sion next week to dis­cuss line of ac­tion to draw fed­eral govt's at­ten­tion to­wards dearth of judges at bank­ing courts.
