Banking court lawyers postpone protest drive
Banking Court Lawyers Forum Wednesday decided to call off protest demonstration against the shortage of judges, which was scheduled to be held Thursday (today) due to holy month of Muharam.
Banking Court Lawyers Forum general body unanimously decided this during a meeting which was held to discuss shortage of judges at banking courts.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Banking Court Lawyers Forum Muhammad Younis Chaudhary. General Secretary Zahoor Ali Nasir Taga, Special Coordinator Saba Saeed Sheikh Malik Imran and other advocates were also present.
The Forum unanimously decided to postpone the protest demonstration against the shortage of judges and other long standing issues to be held Thursday (today) due to holy month of Muharam.
General Secretary Zahoor Ali Nasir Taga said that after 10th of Muharam, the Forum would hold its session next week to discuss line of action to draw federal govt's attention towards dearth of judges at banking courts.
