Badr calls for `Friend­ship Group' in Pol­ish Par­lia­ment

Leader of the House in Se­nate Jehangir Badar has sug­gested to es­tab­lish a `Friend­ship Group' in Pol­ish Par­lia­ment for strength­en­ing Pak-Pol­ish re­la­tions and bet­ter un­der­stand­ing bi­lat­eral law mak­ing process.

Speak­ing in a din­ner hosted late night in the hon­our of vis­it­ing Pol­ish del­e­ga­tion, he said Pak­istan val­ues its re­la­tions with Poland and wants to fur­ther ex­pand trade. Pak­istan and Poland has iden­ti­cal his­tory, both the coun­tries should ben­e­fit from the ex­pe­ri­ences of each other and en­sure fre­quent visit of par­lia­men­tary del­e­ga­tions.

Jehangir thanked the vis­it­ing Mar­shall of the Pol­ish Se­nate Bogdan Borusewicz and col­leagues, say­ing the visit would help strength­en­ing bi­lat­eral re­la­tions. Pak­istan Peo­ples Party has of­fered match­less sac­ri­fices for the strength­en­ing of democ­racy in Pak­istan. The lead­er­ship and work­ers of the party has raised voice against the tyran­ni­cal forces.
