Stalemate on Kashmir issue detrimental for peace: Khar

The Pak Banker - - FRONT PAGE -

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has scored the fact that "no Pakistani ruler can ignore the core issue of Kashmir". Media reports have quoted an interview of the foreign minister, where she termed the stalemate on Kashmir dialogue as quite detrimental for peace and harmony in the Subcontinent, while also assuring that Pakistan was keeping stringent focus over development(s) of Kashmir, including the issue of aftermath effects of hanging of popular Kashmiri activist Afzal Guru.

"It is Pakistan's full endeavor to ebb any out-of-control situation", she assured, cautioning India to eschew any slackness over the issue, and rather expedite a conducive result-oriented debate at earliest. "Situation is fast changing due to elections, but the issue of Kashmir would never change", she deliberated, while also expressing her deepest regrets and concerns of incidents at LoC, which had gushed in feelings of animosity once more.
