PAF ready to re­spond any threat

"There is a need of the hour that we must be ready to re­spond any in­ter­nal and ex­ter­nal se­cu­rity threats". This was said by the Air Chief Mar­shal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of the Air Staff, Pak­istan Air Force while in­spect­ing one of the main op­er­a­tional Air Base Fri­day.

This visit is in con­nec­tion with the se­ries of in­spec­tion vis­its of var­i­ous Com­mands and Bases in or­der to carry out op­er­a­tional eval­u­a­tion of the PAF in­stal­la­tions, equip­ment and sup­port units.

Upon his ar­rival at the Base a smartly turned out con­tin­gent pre­sented Guard of Hon­our. The Air Chief re­viewed the pa­rade, and ad­dressed a joint gath­er­ing of Air­men. While ad­dress­ing the Base per­son­nel he said, "Be­sides fo­cus­ing on and main­tain­ing the high­est pro­fes­sional stan­dards, there was a need for the PAF to pre­pare to meet the se­cu­rity chal­lenges both in­ter­nal and ex­ter­nal".

The Air Chief also em­pha­sized upon the com­man­ders to put in more ef­forts in im­prov­ing the qual­ity of liv­ing stan­dards for the air­men. He also vis­ited the de­ployed Army units and ap­pre­ci­ated their sense of duty and mo­rale and con­tri­bu­tions to­wards PAF's com­bat readi­ness.
