Balochis­tan Bar protests pros­e­cu­tor gen­eral ab­duc­tion

Balochis­tan Bar As­so­ci­a­tion (BBA) has taken out a protest rally against fail­ure of law en­force­ment of re­cov­er­ing the ab­ducted pros­e­cu­tor gen­eral, Balochis­tan, Wasih Tareen.

The rally, led by pres­i­dent BBA, Rah­mat ul­lah Kakar started from district courts, and af­ter travers­ing many roads cul­mi­nated at Zarghoon Road, where it staged a sit-in in front of Gov­er­nor House. Speeches were also held on the oc­ca­sion, dur­ing which the lawyer fra­ter­nity ex­pressed strong con­cerns and ap­pre­hen­sions over fail­ure of law ap­pa­ra­tus to re­cover the ab­ducted of­fi­cial. They also ex­pressed their strong reser­va­tions over in­creas­ing in­ci­dences of kid­nap­ping-for-ran­som in the Province, which had devel­oped into an en­demic, whence ci­ti­zens were kid­napped for mil­lions worth of ran­som, while law en­force­ment fails to ar­rest any cul­prits. The lawyers also an­nounced that un­less the ab­ducted pros­e­cu­tor gen­eral was re­cov­ered, the lawyers would at­tend courts only from 8:00am to 11:00am, af­ter which they would carry on their boy­cott in protest against the ab­ducted pros­e­cu­tor gen­eral.
