Balochistan Bar protests prosecutor general abduction
Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) has taken out a protest rally against failure of law enforcement of recovering the abducted prosecutor general, Balochistan, Wasih Tareen.
The rally, led by president BBA, Rahmat ullah Kakar started from district courts, and after traversing many roads culminated at Zarghoon Road, where it staged a sit-in in front of Governor House. Speeches were also held on the occasion, during which the lawyer fraternity expressed strong concerns and apprehensions over failure of law apparatus to recover the abducted official. They also expressed their strong reservations over increasing incidences of kidnapping-for-ransom in the Province, which had developed into an endemic, whence citizens were kidnapped for millions worth of ransom, while law enforcement fails to arrest any culprits. The lawyers also announced that unless the abducted prosecutor general was recovered, the lawyers would attend courts only from 8:00am to 11:00am, after which they would carry on their boycott in protest against the abducted prosecutor general.
