Um­pqua Bank ex­pands its team in Tem­ple­ton

Um­pqua Bank to­day an­nounced that it has hired Rob Stor­netta and Ni­cole Black as vice pres­i­dents and re­la­tion­ship man­agers at its Cen­tral Coast Agri­cul­ture and Com­mer­cial Bank­ing Cen­ter, lo­cated in Tem­ple­ton, Calif.

Stor­netta and Black bring deep ex­pe­ri­ence in win­ery, vine­yard, field crop and cat­tle fi­nance, and ex­pand the com­pany's pres­ence in the re­gion. Um­pqua's Cen­tral Coast Agri­cul­ture and Com­mer­cial Bank­ing Cen­ter, which opened in Jan­uary 2013, pro­vides busi­ness fi­nanc­ing, in­clud­ing op­er­at­ing, equip­ment and real es­tate loans for farm­ers, ranch­ers and other lo­cal busi­nesses. Stor­netta and Black join Mark Pearce, se­nior vice pres­i­dent, and Ash­ley Og­den, as­sis­tant re­la­tion­ship man­ager, to form the com­pany's core com­mer­cial team in the re­gion. Ni­cole Black was also for­merly with Farm Credit West in Tem­ple­ton, where she be­gan her ca­reer. As as­sis­tant vice pres­i­dent, Black served vine­yard, field crop and cat­tle cus­tomers across all parts of their op­er­a­tion fi­nance needs. She holds a de­gree in Busi­ness Ad­min­is­tra­tion and Man­age­ment from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo and is orig­i­nally from Healds­burg, Calif., where her fam­ily is in­volved in wine grape vine­yards.
