NADRA blocks 30,000 Pakistani identity cards of Afghan refugees
The National Data Base and Registration Authority (NADRA) has blocked some 30,000 Pakistani identity cards of Afghan refugees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA).
NADRA has hired services of intelligence agencies to stop the issuance of cards through forgery. Sources in NADRA on Wednesday told Online that 20,000 cards in 25 districts of KP and 5,000 in tribal areas have been blocked and now fake documents holders would not be able get the cards.
It is pertinent to mention that NADRA has prepared new Multi Bio Metric list of 2.5 million foreigners including fingerprints and photos of all which will help identify foreigners.
