Meezan Bank cus­tomers to face ser­vice out­age from to­day

Meezan Bank cus­tomers will be fac­ing a ser­vice out­age from 9:00 pm, 22nd March, till 9:00 pm, 23rd March, 2013 on ac­count of upgra­da­tion of core bank­ing sys­tem.

“We are pleased to in­form our cus­tomers that on 24th March 2013, we will In­sha’Al­lah be switch­ing over to the new hard­ware for our core bank­ing sys­tem. This up­grade will en­able us to pro­vide you bet­ter bank­ing ser­vices, both at our branches as well as through our elec­tronic bank­ing chan­nels,” an of­fi­cial source said.

Dur­ing the hard­ware switch­ing process, the ser­vice out­age will be faced by all debit / ATM card and in­ter­net bank­ing users from 9:00 pm, 22nd March, till 9:00 pm, 23rd March, 2013. “The hard­ware up­grade is a part of our ef­forts at Meezan Bank to pro­vide you the best pos­si­ble bank­ing ex­pe­ri­ence and help us achieve our Vi­sion of es­tab­lish­ing Is­lamic bank­ing as bank­ing of first choice,” the bank said.
