APNS hails ap­point­ment of Sethi as Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab

All Pak­istan News­pa­pers So­ci­ety (APNS) wel­comes the ap­point­ment of Na­jam Sethi as Chief Min­is­ter Pun­jab and hopes that dur­ing his ten­ure in of­fice, the cor­dial re­la­tions be­tween the Pun­jab pro­vin­cial govt and the All Pak­istan News­pa­pers So­ci­ety will be more strength­ened.

The APNS pres­i­dent and the Sec­re­tary Gen­eral ex­pressed their plea­sure that a veteran jour­nal­ist and pub­lisher mem­ber of the So­ci­ety has been nom­i­nated as Chief Min­is­ter, Pun­jab. The APNS also ex­pressed its con­fi­dence that dur­ing his ten­ure, the APNS would en­joy ac­tive co­op­er­a­tion and as­sis­tance from the government of Pun­jab in ad­dress­ing the prob­lems faced by the news­pa­pers.

The APNS hopes that dur­ing his ten­ure as Chief Min­is­ter, Sethi will look into the mat­ters per­son­ally and re­solve the is­sues for cor­dial re­la­tions be­tween the print me­dia and the Pun­jab government. —
