Malala seals $3m deal to pub­lish her mem­oir

Malala Yousufzai,the girl who shot to in­ter­na­tional fame fol­low­ing Tal­iban at­tack on her said Thurs­day she would pub­lish her life story in the mem­oir,”I Am Malala.”The deal was inked for around $3 mil­lion, though a spokesman for the pub­lisher, Wei­den­feld and Ni­col­son, would not con­firm re­ports about the value of the deal,a lead­ing Bri­tish daily The Guardian re­ported Thurs­day. “I want to tell my story, but it will also be the story of 61 mil­lion chil­dren who can’t get ed­u­ca­tion,” Yousafzai said in a news re­lease. “I want it to be part of the cam­paign to give ev­ery boy and girl the right to go to school. It is their ba­sic right.” Malala Yousufzai re­turned to school just six months af­ter the at­tack by Tal­iban.
