For cit­i­zens' of Pak­istan, prod­ucts and com­pa­nies such as Honda, Metro, Nestlé, PTCL and Lay's of­fer the best price-qual­ity in mar­kets.

These find­ings come from the first Best Buy Award re­search sur­vey in Pak­istan, which was con­ducted by the Swiss or­ga­ni­za­tion ICERTIAS. The or­ga­ni­za­tion mea­sures cit­i­zens' ex­pe­ri­ences and sat­is­fac­tion with the price-qual­ity ra­tio of mar­keted prod­ucts and ser­vices. The re­search was con­ducted in Pak­istan in July 2015.

As part of the Best Buy Award re­search sur­vey, re­spon­dents were asked what they felt rep­re­sented the best price-qual­ity ra­tio, i.e., the best value for their money, ac­cord­ing to their per­sonal ex­pe­ri­ences with spe­cific prod­ucts or ser­vice cat­e­gories on the Pak­istan mar­ket. The re­search in Pak­istan en­com­passed about 50 dif­fer­ent non-eco­nomic and eco­nomic cat­e­gories in sec­tors such as re­tail, food, footwear, cloth­ing, cos­met­ics, home ap­pli­ances, telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions, fi­nance etc. First-place win­ners in the other re­searched cat­e­gories in­cluded Al­farid (rice), Honda (fam­ily cars), Nestlé (break­fast ce­re­als), Lay's (snack pro­ducer), PTCL (broad­band In­ter­net provider) and Coca Cola (soft drink). The Best Buy Award re­search does not mea­sure brand eq­uity or mar­ket share. The cus­tomers' ex­pe­ri­ence, opin­ion, sat­is­fac­tion and per­cep­tion are ex­clu­sively used to gauge the best price/qual­ity ra­tio of goods and ser­vices.
