Emirates signs $5m deal with Jennifer Aniston: Report
DUBAI: Emirates has reportedly signed Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston to be the new face of the airline in a deal said to be worth $5 million. The actress, best known for her role in hit television sitcom Friends, has already shot the advertisement campaign, the New York Posts Page Six reports, citing an unnamed source.
"Jennifer Aniston has shot a high-profile campaign for Emirates as part of this deal, for which she is being paid around $5 million. She will appear across TV and print ads worldwide," a source told the News Corporation-owned tabloid. Emirates was unable to comment on the report at the time of publication. The airline already has a number of high profile sponsorships including sealing deals this year to rename the FA Cup, the worlds oldest knockout football, as the "Emirates FA Cup" and branding the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. Earlier this year, Etihad Airways unveiled Nicole Kidman as its new brand ambassador with the Australian Hollywood actress appearing in a series of airline advertisements.
