SC adjourns Islamabad LB election case till 27th
The Supreme Court on Monday adjourned hearing of the case regarding holding of Local Bodies Election in the federal capital till August 27.
The three-member bench headed by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja and comprising Justice Dost Muhammad Khan and Justice Maqbool Baqar heard the case regarding holding of Local Bodies Election in Islamabad. During the course of proceeding, Aamir Rehman Additional Attorney General informed the court that the President had signed the local bodies election.
He said that electoral rules and regulations have been prepared which would be uploaded on the Interior Ministery website. He said that suggestions and objections would be sought from general public in the 15 days and later final notification would be issued in this regard.
