On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's wife Reham Khan has said that Kasur incident could have occurred in any city however; the government like Model Town incident is also negligent in this matter.

Talking to media after the ceremony regarding street children, Reham Khan said that Kasur incident is the failure of the rulers as laws are present in the country but are not being implemented. She stated that NGOs can only work against such incidents but do not have the authority to take action because the right to conduct operation reserves with the government.
