PM says sac­ri­fices of lead­ers to dec­i­mate ter­ror­ists de­signs

IS­LAM­ABAD: Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif has ex­pressed deep grief and sor­row over the sad demise of Col (r) Shuja Khan­zada who was mar­tyred in a ter­ror­ist blast at his res­i­dence in At­tock. The Prime Min­is­ter con­veyed heart­felt con­do­lences to the be­reaved fam­ily and said he shares the grief of the fam­ily. The Prime Min­is­ter prayed eter­nal peace for the de­parted soul and pa­tience and for­ti­tude for the grieved fam­ily.

Prime Min­is­ter Nawaz Sharif has said that the sac­ri­fices of our brave na­tion and valiant he­roes like Shuja Khanzda would dec­i­mate the de­signs of cow­ard ter­ror­ists and they will be chased to their last hide­out and elim­i­nated with na­tional re­solve an unity. It may be noted that a sui­cide bomber on Sun­day killed Punjab Home Min­is­ter Col (retd) Shuja Khan­zada and nine oth­ers at his po­lit­i­cal of­fice in At­tock dis­trict. The Prime Min­is­ter reaf­firmed the com­mit­ment and de­ter­mi­na­tion of the gov­ern­ment for pur­su­ing the Na­tional Ac­tion Plan against ter­ror­ism with full force and di­rected for pre­emp­tive se­cu­rity strat­egy to counter the ter­ror­ist plan­ning. The Prime Min­is­ter urged the LEAs not to lower their guards till the elim­i­na­tion of last ter­ror­ist. He stressed for the change of tac­tics and go for pre­ven­tive op­er­a­tional method­ol­ogy. The Prime Min­is­ter said the courage and val­our of Shuja Khan­zada is mes­sage to the mas­ter­minds of ter­ror­ists that they are bound to be de­feated.
