LCCI con­demns Shuja Khan­zada's killing

LA­HORE: La­hore Cham­ber of Com­merce & In­dus­try (LCCI) Mon­day ex­pressed its heart­felt sor­row and shock over the tragic death of Punjab Home Min­is­ter Col (r) Shuja Khan­zada and termed it a great na­tional loss.

In a con­do­lence mes­sage, LCCI Pres­i­dent Ijaz A. Mum­taz, Se­nior Vice Pres­i­dent Mian Nau­man Kabir and Vice Pres­i­dent Syed Mah­mood Ghaz­navi said that as­sas­si­na­tion of a true pa­triot was a con­spir­acy to cre­ate an­ar­chy in the coun­try. They urged the gov­ern­ment to uti­lize all avail­able re­sources to track down the con­spir­a­tors. "Shuja was mak­ing an in­valu­able con­tri­bu­tion to crush ter­ror­ists in the province. The coun­try has lost an hon­est and pa­tri­otic politi­cian," they added. They said, Shuja Khan­zada was striv­ing to do ev­ery­thing to de­feat ter­ror­ists in the province. His ser­vices for the coun­try would never be for­got­ten, they added.
