En­tire world ac­knowl­edges Pak­istan's sac­ri­fices against ter­ror­ism: Rashid

IS­LAM­ABAD: In­for­ma­tion Min­is­ter Per­vaiz Rashid has said the gov­ern­ment and armed forces have bro­ken the back of ter­ror­ists and they are now on the run.

He said the en­tire world is ac­knowl­edg­ing the sac­ri­fices ren­dered by Pak­istan to elim­i­nate ter­ror­ism for the sake of world peace. The Min­is­ter said armed forces of Pak­istan have suc­cess­fully de­stroyed ter­ror­ists' hide­outs, fac­to­ries of ex­plo­sive and train­ing camps in North Waziris­tan. Pay­ing great homage to mar­tyred Home Min­is­ter of Punjab Shuja Khan­zada, he said the ter­ror­ists are car­ry­ing out such acts in des­per­a­tion.

How­ever, Per­vaiz Rashid said, the ter­ror­ists can­not weaken the na­tion's de­ter­mi­na­tion to elim­i­nate ter­ror­ism from the coun­try. Mean­while talk­ing to var­i­ous news chan­nels, Per­vaiz Rashid re­it­er­ated gov­ern­ment's de­ter­mi­na­tion to elim­i­nate forces in­im­i­cal to the ide­ol­ogy of Pak­istan. He said the el­e­ments that used let loose reign of terror on in­no­cent cit­i­zens on the pre­text of sec­tar­i­an­ism or a skewed in­ter­pre­ta­tion of Is­lam to sub­due them would not be tol­er­ated. The Min­is­ter vowed to chase the ter­ror­ists and their fa­cil­i­ta­tors un­til the men­ace is to­tally elim­i­nated from the coun­try.
