Pak stu­dent clinches 2nd place in NASA con­test

KARACHI: A Pak­istani O' Lev­els stu­dent bagged sec­ond po­si­tion at the Na­tional Aero­nau­tics and Space Ad­min­is­tra­tion (NASA) Ames Space Set­tle­ment De­sign Con­test 2015. Ac­cord­ing to de­tails, Shah Mir Aizaz bagged the sec­ond place in the com­pe­ti­tion for his en­try named "Be­yond In­fin­ity - Eros Outer At­mos­phere Set­tle­ment". Over 3007 stu­dents from 14 dif­fer­ent coun­tries took part in the com­pe­ti­tion which was spon­sored by the NASA Ames Re­search Cen­ter. The stu­dents dis­play knowl­edge re­gard­ing the en­vi­ron­ment in space along with pre­sen­ta­tion skills, team­work, cre­ativ­ity and skills re­quired to re­solve the prob­lems that are re­quired for de­sign­ing a space city.
