Alexander, the former Liberal Democrat Treasury chief secretary, lost his seat at the UK's general election last year, the newspaper said. While Britain would take one of the resident vice-president's jobs, Germany would take a vice-president's role and one of the two vice-chairs on the AIIB's board of governors, media said citing one unidentifi­ed person familiar with operations at the bank, which is China's version of the Washington­based World Bank.
