SMEDA distributes cheque worth Rs.110m
Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) Monday distributed 81 cheque of grants worth Rs.110 million under the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF), funded project in the terrorism and flood affected districts including Hangu, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Buner and Swat.
The cheque distribution ceremony was held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KPCCI) with Special Assistant to KP Chief Minister on Industries, Abdul Karim Khan as chief guest.
President KPCCI, Zulfikar Ali and Provincial Chief, SMEDA, Javed Iqbal Khattak, and representatives of business community were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Special Assistant to KP Chief Minister on Industries, Abdul Karim Khan thanked donors for extending support to the Province during the difficult situation to initiate the project. He appreciated the efforts of the chamber, SMEDA and officials of the the government for making the project a success.
