SMEDA dis­trib­utes cheque worth Rs.110m

Small and Medium En­ter­prises De­vel­op­ment Au­thor­ity (SMEDA) Mon­day dis­trib­uted 81 cheque of grants worth Rs.110 mil­lion un­der the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF), funded pro­ject in the ter­ror­ism and flood af­fected dis­tricts in­clud­ing Hangu, Lakki Mar­wat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Buner and Swat.

The cheque dis­tri­bu­tion cer­e­mony was held in Khy­ber Pakhtunkhwa Cham­ber of Com­merce & In­dus­try (KPCCI) with Spe­cial As­sis­tant to KP Chief Min­is­ter on In­dus­tries, Ab­dul Karim Khan as chief guest.

Pres­i­dent KPCCI, Zul­fikar Ali and Pro­vin­cial Chief, SMEDA, Javed Iqbal Khat­tak, and rep­re­sen­ta­tives of busi­ness com­mu­nity were also present on the oc­ca­sion.

Ad­dress­ing the cer­e­mony, Spe­cial As­sis­tant to KP Chief Min­is­ter on In­dus­tries, Ab­dul Karim Khan thanked donors for ex­tend­ing sup­port to the Prov­ince dur­ing the dif­fi­cult sit­u­a­tion to ini­ti­ate the pro­ject. He ap­pre­ci­ated the ef­forts of the cham­ber, SMEDA and of­fi­cials of the the govern­ment for mak­ing the pro­ject a suc­cess.
