Load-shed­ding re­duces from 18 to six hours: Abid Sher

Min­is­ter of State for Wa­ter and Power Abid Sher Ali has said due to sin­cere ef­forts of the present govern­ment load­shed­ding hours had been re­duced from 18 to six hours in the coun­try.

Talk­ing to a pri­vate TV chan­nel, he said that a num­ber of de­vel­op­ment projects had been launched dur­ing last three years which would be help­ful to bring pros­per­ity and re­duc­ing the prob­lems of the peo­ple.

He said China Pak­istan Eco­nomic Cor­ri­dor (CPEC) pro­ject would prove as fate changer not only for Pak­istan but for the en­tire re­gion. Re­ply­ing to a ques­tion, the min­is­ter said the coun­try had moved on a way of progress un­der the dy­namic lead­er­ship of Prime Min­is­ter Muham­mad Nawaz Sharif.

He said that the present govern­ment be­lieves in trans­parency. He added that in­ter­na­tional com­mu­nity had also ex­pressed its con­fi­dence on poli­cies of the govern­ment. Abid Sher Ali said Pak­istan Tehreek-e-In­saf was the group of de­pressed peo­ple who were spread­ing des­per­a­tion among the peo­ple.
