Abu Dhabi set to host four new ex­hi­bi­tions

ABU DHABI: In­dex Con­fer­ences and Ex­hi­bi­tions, or ICE, will or­gan­ise four new events in Abu Dhabi on life­style, chil­dren and par­ent­ing, tech­nol­ogy and me­dia. The an­nounce­ment came as In­dex Con­fer­ence and Ex­hi­bi­tions signed a part­ner­ship with the Abu Dhabi Na­tional Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre, or Ad­nec, to open a new branch at its fa­cil­ity. The agree­ment was signed by Khal­ifa Al Qubaisi, head of sales, con­gresses and con­fer­ences at Ad­nec, and Dr Ab­dul Salam Al Madani, chair­man of In­dex Hold­ing. In­dex will or­gan­ise two new ex­hi­bi­tions in 2016 and a fur­ther two on the me­dia and tech­nol­ogy sec­tors in 2017. The four events to be hosted at Ad­nec are: Chil­dren & Par­ents World Ex­hi­bi­tion, Life­style Ex­hi­bi­tion, Me­dia Com­mu­ni­ca­tion & Con­tent World Con­fer­ence & Ex­hi­bi­tion and Tech World Con­fer­ence & Ex­hi­bi­tion. Th­ese events will cover a spec­trum of ac­tiv­i­ties and ver­ti­cals such as Chil­dren & Par­ents World Ex­hi­bi­tion, which will be Abu Dhabi's first fam­ily fair and expo ded­i­cated to ba­bies, chil­dren and par­ents' needs. The Tech World Con­fer­ence & Ex­hi­bi­tion, which plans to bring ' To­mor­row's Tech­nol­ogy Now' to the Middle East and North African mar­kets, will show­case tech­nol­ogy that will trans­form lives in the near fu­ture. Life­style Ex­hi­bi­tion will cover the lat­est trends in fash­ion, ac­ces­sories, gifts, tex­tiles and more, the chair­man said. Ice or­gan­ises over 20 events an­nu­ally. Hu­maid Al Dha­heri, the act­ing CEO of Ad­nec, said the part­ner­ship would strengthen the events cal­en­dar for In­dex. "Ad­nec is ready to pro­vide the re­quired sup­port to­wards the suc­cess of th­ese events." The chair­man of In­dex Hold­ing said the new branch would be an ad­di­tion to a se­ries of suc­cess­ful en­ter­prises that Ice has or­gan­ised since its in­cep­tion in 1991.
