Pak­istan-Turkey to co­op­er­ate in cre­at­ing job op­por­tu­ni­ties

Pak­istan is com­mit­ted to curb poverty and un­em­ploy­ment through de­vel­op­ment of small and medium en­ter­prises and could boost its ex­ports through small medium en­ter­prises (SMEs). This was said by Fed­eral Min­is­ter for In­dus­tries and Pro­duc­tion, Ghu­lam Mur­taza Khan Ja­toi while meet­ing with pres­i­dent of Small and Medium En­ter­prises De­vel­op­ment Or­ga­ni­za­tion (KOSGEB) of Turkey on Mon­day. The dele- gation was led by Re­cep Bicer, Pres­i­dent of KOSGEB. The Am­bas­sador of Turkey also ac­com­pa­nied the del­e­ga­tion.

The Turk­ish del­e­ga­tion is cur­rently in Pak­istan on the in­vi­ta­tion of Chief Min­is­ter, Pun­jab, Muham­mad Shah­baz Sharif. The Pun­jab govern­ment will work closely with KOSGEB in or­der to de­velop SME Sec­tor through Turk­ish ex­pe­ri­ence of de­vel­op­ment. KOSGEB will help Pun­jab govern­ment in trans­fer of knowl­edge, ex­pe­ri­ence and tech­nol­ogy.
