UAE Armed Forces in Dh767m deals

The UAE Armed Forces an­nounced six deals valu­ing Dh767 mil­lion to boost its train­ing, main­te­nance pro­grammes, be­sides build­ing spare parts in­ven­tory for Se­bar pro­ject.

In a me­dia briefing, on the first day of Umex-2016, Bri­gadier Gen­eral Rashid Mo­hammed Al-Shamsi, chair­man of Higher Or­ga­niz­ing Com­mit­tee of the se­cond Un­manned Sys­tem Ex­hi­bi­tion said of th­ese deals, Que­bec Sim­u­la­tion Sys­tems won a con­tract to in­stall in­ter­nal train­ing sys­tems con­sist­ing of 20 shoot­ing sys­tems valu­ing Dh9.107 mil­lion.

Other deals were inked by CIA Inc. for the sale of Dh404.8 mil­lion sim­u­la­tion sys­tems and In­ter­na­tional Flight Academy to train pi­lots on Black­hawks air­craft valu­ing Dh80.377 mil­lion. In­fox Sim­u­la­tion signed a deal worth Dh160 mil­lion whereas the lo­cal player Al Badi won Dh50 mil­lion con­tract to train tech­ni­cians and oper­a­tors from Re­pub­lic of Be­larus on Vo­late tanks.
