Pak­istan, S. Ara­bia ties ex­cel­lent

IS­LAM­ABAD: Pak­istan and Saudi Ara­bia en­joy his­toric bi­lat­eral re­la­tions which are based on religious grounds. This was stated by an­a­lysts while talk­ing in Ra­dio Pak­istan's Cur­rent Affairs'pro­gram. De­fense an­a­lyst Lt. Gen­eral (R) Am­jad Shoaib said, "Pak­istan will per­form ad­vi­sory role in Saudi-led mil­i­tary al­liance but per­son­nel of our army are also part of the re­cently con­cluded mil­i­tary ex­er­cise. Pak­istan was only ma­jor mil­i­tary power in Saudi-led mil­i­tary al­liance but other coun­tries have their own political sig­nif­i­cance in the world, he added. Se­nior an­a­lyst Dr. A. Z. Hi­lali said that Pak­istan and Saudi Ara­bia have his­toric bi­lat­eral re­la­tions based on religious grounds. The co­op­er­a­tion be­tween both the coun­tries cov­ered sev­eral fields in­clud­ing so­cial, eco­nomic and mil­i­tary re­la­tions. he added.
