Fauji Fer­til­izer Com­pany earns Rs 16.766b profit

IS­LAM­ABAD: Fauji Fer­til­izer Com­pany has achieved net profit of Rs 16.766 bil­lion. The FFC has cre­ated two new bench­marks in terms of high­est-ever sales rev­enue of Rs. 86.321 bil­lion (in­clud­ing DAP sub­sidy), be­sides record in­vest­ment in­come of Rs. 1.985 bil­lion. Com­pany also achieved se­cond high­est urea pro­duc­tion ever of 2.469 Mil­lion tonnes, a press re­lease said here on Thurs­day.

Ac­cord­ing to data dis­closed in the 38th An­nual Gen­eral Meet­ing of Fauji Fer­til­izer Com­pany Lim­ited (FFC) chaired by Lt Gen Khalid Nawaz Khan, HI (M), Si­tara-e Esar, (Re­tired). Ad­dress­ing the share­hold­ers, he ap­prised that FFC dur­ing the year 2015 sur­passed all the bud­geted tar­gets in terms of pro­duc­tion, sales, rev­enues, in­vest­ment in­come and prof­itabil­ity mar­gins, de­spite in­cre­men­tal levies and ad­verse mar­ket con­di­tions. Dur­ing the year 2015, FFC got first po­si­tion amongst Top 25 Com­pa­nies of the Karachi Stock Ex­change for the fourth con­sec­u­tive year and has been ad­judged as most trans­par­ent and best gov­erned cor­po­rate en­tity by var­i­ous in­ter­na­tional and Pak­istani in­sti­tu­tion.
