Foolproof security for Pak, China Business Forum
LAHORE: Police will make foolproof arrangements to ensure security of chief guest and participants in the Pak-China Business Forum function which will start at Expo Centre on Saturday. SSP Operations Liaquat Ali Malik expressed these views while reviewing security arrangements at the Expo Centre, polio teams and Tablighi Ijtima in Raiwind, here on Friday. Officials of law-enforcement agencies were also present.During the anti-polio campaign in the provincial metropolis, policemen deputed with the polio teams are performing their duties efficiently. Likewise, foolproof security will be provided to Tablighi Ijtima in Raiwind. The SSP Operations said that Pak-China Business Forum will continue till March 22 at the Expo Centre, where policemen will be deputed at entrance and exit points to ensure security arrangements. Every visitors of the forum would be body-searched and the entry cards will be checked. Clearance of all those involved in the arrangements of the exhibition would also be ensured. Likewise, participants in the Tablighi Ijtima would also be thoroughly body-searched before they enter the venue at Raiwind.
