Women problems in SAARC countries

The Pak Banker - - NATIONAL - Mansi Mishraa

GIRL is a beautiful creation in this world. Our mother earth exists because of a girl who later becomes women and gives birth to a child. After studying different problems in different countries and not only this, if we see today's scenario we can see the pain and terror in the eyes of girls and In SAARC nations i.e Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Pakistan, Maldives, Nepal, Srilanka, women face the similar problems everywhere.

These problems are not small but heartrending. Female infanticide, no equal rights given to females as compared to males, no education, rapes, physical torture, sexual harassment, domestic violence at the hands of husbands, do not have a choice of marrying of her own choice, cannot go for job, dowry.

These are just few but there are many more problems. Females have to go extra mile to prove them and to come equal to males. I do not understand why male dominating society do not understand the importance of females. Behind every successful man there is a woman.

Female is the one who is multitasking, full of emotions. We cannot do anything but we can simply change our attitude, our feelings for females. Love, Affection, respect for the female should be from the bottom of the heart. Girl is a proud for a father and when married make her husband proud but males never understand their power. We cannot ask Government to make laws and regulations straight away. Firstly, it should start from home where a girl lives. Thinking of parents should be changed.

Girl should be given equal rights as parents give to a boy, education, freedom, protection, love, choice of career, choice of marrying. Due to social restrictions at times parent forget that girl is also a human being. She has emotions and right to live. Secondly, Culture of schools and colleges should be changed. Girls should be given a platform to make themselves learn, to be strong and fight with the world and this will help them to be mentally strong.

If each male, that is a father, a boy, a son, a friend, a brother will change their thought process I am sure females will have the right, protection, love and they will not face such problems. Female is a girl, a mother, a wife, a girl friend, a woman, her heart is full of love, emotions and sea in her eyes which makes you win every battle. After this only we can ask the government to make laws and regulations and some shelter for females.

To overcome with this situation it will not only be my voice but the voices of each and every female which will make us win. To take our rights we have to fight ourselves.
