New auto policy opens door for foreign investment: Jatoi
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Industries and Production, Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi on Thursday said that new auto policy announced by the government had opened the doors for foreign investment. "The car manufacturers from Europe and other areas of the world can expand their business by taking advantage of rapidly growing middle class of Pakistan, cheap labor and industrial friendly policies of the current government," the minister said while talking to Belarusian Ambassador to Pakistan here. He said after the announcement of the new auto policy, investors from Germany, France and Belarus had expressed their interest in Pakistan's auto industry. Jatoi said various Western countries were considering to invest in Pakistan after initiating China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project. The government's prudent measures to revive national economy has become, successful besides efforts against terrorism.
