Morgan Stanley taps Arun Kohli as COO for European business
LONDON: Morgan Stanley is relocating Asia-Pacific chief operating officer Arun Kohli to London in a similar role for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as part of a reshuffle. Kohli will be replaced by Ravi Vazirani in the Asia-Pacific region, Morgan Stanley said in memos to staff earlier this week. Vazirani was previously chief financial officer in Asia-Pacific, according to the memos, whose contents were confirmed by a Morgan Stanley spokesman in Hong Kong. "Arun will work closely with me in developing strategy for both the EMEA business and the UK group," said Robert Rooney, head of Morgan Stanley in EMEA in a memo. "He will also have responsibility for coordinating the UK group's operational and non-financial resources."
