Imran's 'solo flight' could damage joint opposition: Khurshid Shah
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's ' solo flight' against the government could damage the joint opposition, reported Thursday.
Shah said that the reason behind failure of Imran Khan's sit-in protest in 2014 was solo flight and he is doing the same now. While talking about Sindh and its government affairs, he said that credit for peace in Karachi goes to the police.
He said that Pakistan People's Party does not object to Rangers special powers but it should not give a perception of a state within a state. He further said that to abide by the law is mandatory for every institution.Shah's statement has come in as reaction to Imran Khan's call for protest against the government starting from August 7 for alleged corruption and ill state of affairs.
