Sberbank's premium MIR debit cards launched
MOSCOW: MIR Premium and MIR Premium Plus - premium cards of the MIR payment system -are now available to Sberbank's payroll project clients.
Cardholders can also receive additional cards and connect to and use the Mobile Bank, which informs clients about all card operations, free of charge. MIR Premium Plus cards can also be used to withdraw cash from ATMs of other banks free of charge. The benefits of Sberbank's premium MIR cards include contactless payments, around-the-clock money transfers, the modern and convenient services of Sberbank Online and Autopayment, and the Thank You from Sberbank loyalty programme, which allows its participants to exchange bonuses for discounts at partner stores.
The cards let their holders accumulate Thank You bonuses faster. When paying using MIR Premium cards, clients get back 10% when paying for taxis, 5% back at cafes and restaurants, and 1.5% back at supermarkets. With MIR Premium Plus cards, clients get 10% back in bonuses at cafes and restaurants and 5% back at supermarkets (in the event that at least 150,000 roubles are spent per month).
At Moscow Exchange's 20th Annual Competition of Annual Reports, Sberbank's 2016 Annual Report won the "Best Annual Report of a Company with Capitalisation over RUB 200 bln".
