Back in January 2015, Nuruzzaman Jonny, 30, general secretary of the Khilgaon unit of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, the student wing of the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party, was detained by the police Detective Branch in Dhaka.
