Orchid show set in Quezon City Aug. 31-Sept. 10, 2018
THE PHILIPPINE Orchid Society (POS) will hold its 72nd Midyear Orchid & Garden Show from August 31 to September 10, 2018 at the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City.
The show will highlight the world renowned Waling-Waling ( Vanda sanderiana) which is endemic to the Philippines, particularly in the lush forests of Mindanao.
Many other orchid species and hybrids will also be featured in the landscape exhibits together with a lot of flowering and foliage ornamentals. There will be commercial stalls where the buying public can obtain their favorite orchids and ornamental plants, as well as garden supplies like fertilizers, potting media, sprayers, pots and other containers. There will also be daily lectures on orchid growing and gardening conducted by experienced resource persons.
